My Babies

David has had a bit of a hard time adjusting to Lydia. Just yesterday he gave her a kiss for the first time! He still gets upset if he wants me to himself but has recently started patting her hair, finding her nose, and crawling up to her! He's even learned the sign for baby!

Who could resist this cutie for long! Lydia is the smiliest baby I've ever had!! When she wakes up from a little cat nap she will almost always grin when she opens her eyes. I think she's just so happy to be here!

Liddy's hair is wavier than any of my others have been. My other kids had the typical baby waves when their hair was wet but Lydia's hair curls up around the ears even when dry. I'm curious to see if her baby curls go away like mine did or if she'll be like her two aunt's that have major curls.

This picture is one of my favorites. It really captures what an angel little Lydia is! She's always just looking around with her pure, sweet little eyes.

I've had a few bald babies so I can't resist taking head shots! Besides, I have a feeling her hair won't stay this color very long!

About David, his eye is still in need of prayers! They want to remove (some) stitches on December 2nd. I still don't feel right about it and we will postpone it unless Dr. Bowman can give me a really good reason it needs to be done this soon!

When I was taking pictures of Liddy, I brought David out with me. He was not thrilled about the grass, but look at his skills!!

Liddy's toes!

Ok, not the most flattering picture but just look at the baby I grew in me!!! She is two weeks old and after being born at 10lbs even, now weighs 10lbs 10 oz! Just look at those awesome shoulders..can you say ownch! : )

Here are Caleb and Anthony! They are getting so big and grown up. They are amazing helpers! We are considering putting them in public school next semester but honestly I'm not sure how I'd manage with out them.

Here's Caleb pitching to David! Yes, David has a washcloth in his mouth..or a clean sock.

After about 30 min of taking pictures both babies had had it! I was trying to console them both (Andy was gone) when Jentrey walked into the room. She picked up the camera and snapped this one. I think it captures my life right now perfectly.

Milestones!

David has made great progress lately!
He is pulling up!!!
He is crawling on hands and knees!!He even helps the boys empty the dishwasher!!
..and he tries to climb in!
He's not ready to do what Anthony does but he has learned to climb the stairs and pull up on the baby gate!

Caleb tries to help him walk! He has cruised along the sofa and let go with one hand when standing by it.  We are loving all the milestones..even finding him digging in the trash!

We went to our ward's trunk or treat yesterday...yes my due date, so baby girl is officially LATE!

Boy my kiddos have grow up in a year!  I remember this time last year.  I took David to trunk or treat.  It was the first time I had taken him out in a public setting.  It was outside as always so I felt it was safe enough for him.  I also wanted all my church family to get to meet him finally.  He was two weeks shy of his 8th surgery, a super risky reconstruction of his heart plumbing!  I was terrified he wouldn't make it through.  I have tons of pictures of him during those weeks.  We went to trunk or treat with David hooked up to a little feeding pump I carried in a backpack.  People were pretty good about keeping their distance from him.  This year people are pretty trained.  They know not to touch him.  I only had to stop one little girl who had randomly walked over to us and grabbed his cheek!!!!  Here's to a healthy happy year!

Update!

This is Davesters EYE! We took him to the cornea specialist to see why it was weeping and still red. He said it looks good and is healing well so far. The redness in the inner corner is from some extra dissoluble stitches that will irritate his eye for 3-6 weeks after surgery.

David is crawling on hands and knees now! He also has started pulling up and to our amazement climbed the stairs yesterday!!!!

He also has started trying to talk more! He says Momma, Dad, bye, go, uh oh, up, yeah!, book, and ball

David also signs eat, tube feed, bath, ball, play, finished, go to bed/tired, rock-a-bye, music, wash hands, and no. He's on the verge of getting the sign for dirty. It's been sooooo fun! In the above picture he's signing eat..although he wasn't thrilled when Luke then tried to give him a bite!

This is us at the Cooks Childrens Halloween party.

Jentrey was a rag doll! SOOOOO adorable!
Who knew Andy's afro wig would get such good use!

We've had some good times in the mud this month!

We've had a great time cheering on the RANGERS!!!

We have really enjoyed watching David meet so many milestones. He's getting so big! I've been more grateful for a baby growing up! It's not even bitter sweet! I want him to grow up with all my heart!

Caleb carved an Angry Bird pumpkin!

I bet you can guess which one is mine and what I've had on my mind lately!

Yep, Our baby is due in 2 days!!!!!!
She is still nameless but I figure once we see her we'll know!
